Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

We are actively seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field is required. Specific skills include the following:
•    Possess a minimum of Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly (FS Poly works too)
•    At a minimum, meet DoDD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
•    Experience engineering, implementing, and maintaining geographically dispersed unclassified and classified networks supporting 1,000 or more users.
•    Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Software Defined Networking (Cisco technologies preferred)
•    Strong documentation skills

We are looking for a Sr. Network Engineer experienced with router/switch/firewall configuration and security management of an environment that includes networking equipment from several different manufacturers, as well as Windows/Linux servers, databases, Citrix and security hardware & software. Your expertise will support a technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. You will plan and design network components/configurations to ensure that resources (hardware/software) are in place to enable the team to monitor and manage the IT system infrastructure and all processes and components related to these systems (both hardware and software). In addition, you will engineer solutions for expanding capacity, improving response time, and streamlining network operations throughout the internal and operational systems, will monitor and analyze mission critical networks and servers, and will set up, manage, and maintain security management and application performance optimization functions across internal and customer systems.

Responsibilities:
•    Design, Construct, test and implement integrated network, hardware and software solutions, distributed computing solutions, and/or physical and logical communications networks for the organization.
•    Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to service requests and trouble tickets to include Move, Add, and change requests for the enterprise transport.
•    Write and execute detailed network implementations such as topology and rack elevation diagrams.
•    Provide technical consulting on high level network designs, platform sizing, infrastructure system design and the application of new technologies.
•    Apply extensive industry and enterprise knowledge to identify and recommend integrated solutions, products and services to support the enterprise's accomplishments of business goals or technical needs.
•    Provide network administration support for development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation of the enterprise network environment.
•    Assess the impact of system changes to the team and to the infrastructure.
•    Provide written and in-person status to leadership.
•    Develop/engineer as part of an Agile scrum team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
•    15 year’s experience engineering, implementing, and maintaining classified networks supporting 1,000 or more users.
•    Experience designing, implementing and maintaining Citrix virtual infrastructure
•    Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
•    Certifications: CCNP Enterprise or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued); passed Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions (300-415 ENSDWI) Exam
