A&M Technologies, Inc. has an opening for a Project Manager (PjM): To support the National Security Sector in providing information technology upgrades.

The job duties of the Project Manager are as follows: 

Strategic Planning & Requirements Management:

  • Conduct comprehensive stakeholder analysis and requirements gathering sessions to clarify network or systems service needs and issue targeted requests for information (RFI) when necessary.
  • Lead technical assessments across multiple disciplines, applying industry best practices to evaluate ​network or systems standard requirements and implementation feasibility.
  • Analyze Request for Change (RFC) requirements and provide strategic recommendations that align network service delivery with broader business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Proactively drive coordination across multiple network and systems teams to bring clarity to technical requirements and deliver integrated solutions on schedule.
  • Develop comprehensive cost-benefit analyses and schedule impact assessments based on established models, negotiating technical trade-offs to deliver optimal cost and schedule outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret and execute projects in accordance with established standard workflows and organizational processes, supporting engineering review boards and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.

Systems Engineering & Solution Development:

  • Ensure end-to-end systems integration and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Execute comprehensive technical analysis including functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, and requirements allocation to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including both program- and user-level documentation following industry and contractual standards.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process optimization opportunities consistent with customer guidance and principles, cost savings, and system architecture objectives.
  • Conduct complex systems analysis and study requirements to drive operational excellence.

Project Execution & Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate directly with Task Leads, Project Managers, and clients to ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and quality standards while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Orchestrate internal resources towards seamless project execution and delivery of excellence
  • Develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps, monitor KPIs, and track progress using agile project management methodologies and industry-standard tools
  • Prepare executive-level status reports and proactively identify mitigation strategies to remove project roadblocks

Risk Management & Quality Assurance:

  • Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning across multiple service areas to identify, assess, and resolve risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs).
  • Provide specialized support in technical writing, document integration, and preparation of client-ready presentations and deliverables.
  • Manage data governance and reporting including collecting, analyzing, and publishing information and statistical data in various formats.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including correspondence, records, reports, SOPs, and internal communications.

Requirements

Candidate must have 16 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education. (NOTE: This equates to a doctorate and 8 years of experience OR masters and 10 years, bachelors and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years). Additional required qualifications include:

  • Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional team environments while demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and share knowledge with colleagues in a professional office environment
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong data analysis capabilities
  • Ability to adhere to security clearance management protocols and reporting requirements, including compliance with government security procedures and maintenance of clearance eligibility standards throughout employment
